Microgel synthesis: kinetics, particle formation and reactor modeling

This project addresses the development and usage of a physically motivated model for process operation and control for microgel synthesis. Experimental studies will be complemented by determination of parameters from quantum chemical calculations. Using the MEXA methodology, the project combines modeling with experimentation to enable better understanding of the synthesis mechanisms. Additionally, the developed model is utilized with model-based methods to synthesize microgels with specific properties or structures efficiently.
